Biya Appoints Prof. Ngolle Ngolle Coordinator of CPDM Academy

President Paul Biya cum National Chairman of the ruling CPDM party signed two decisions on Monday, October 26, appointing Prof. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle and other officials to the leadership of the party’s academy.

In the decisions, Biya appoints the erstwhile Minister of Forestry and Wildlife, who is equally a member of the CPDM Central Committee, as coordinator of the party’s academy. He will be assisted by Thomas Faustin, who was appointed Deputy Coordinator of the academy.

Meanwhile, Prof. Paul Célestin Ndembiyembé was appointed as Secretary for political training in the CPDM and the academy. He holds this position cumulatively with those of Adviser to the Secretariat of the Central Committee and member of the Ad hoc Disciplinary Committee of the CPDM.

The party academy was created in order to serve as a “political structure and capacity building” for militants and elected officials of the party. It also has a mission the training of militants in the party’s ideology and policy strategies.
