Gospel Campaign To Transform Cameroon

By Nelen Tambe — The General Superintendent of the Full Gospel Mission, Daniel Mbiwan, has declared that a grand gospel crusade to hold in Yaounde from December 12-15 will transform Cameroon.

He made the declaration during a press conference to announce the coming of famous evangelists, Reihnard Bonnke and Daniel Kolenda, to Cameroon for the grand gospel campaign. The event is organised by the Reihnard Bonnke team in Cameroon. According to Mbiwan, the crusade is serving a double purpose; uniting ministers of God from different fellowships and also a means of calling on the presence of the Almighty in nation building.

“The crusade will be a turning point in the country’s destiny. God will transform the future of our country, save souls, heal sicknesses, revive every facet to development and wrought untold miracles,” Mbiwan declared. For the Africa Director of the Ministry of Reihnard Bonnke, Rev. John Kwesi Darku, the Lord has given Evangelist Reihnard Bonnke another opportunity to visit Cameroon. Rev. Darku said Evangelist Bonnke lastly came in Cameroon in 1987 where he visited Kumba, Douala, Yaounde, Bamenda, Garoua and Maroua.

He believes that the presence of the Evangelist will greatly change lives as it did when he was last in the country and in Nigeria where some 1.6 million souls were saved. The 73-year-old Bonnke is coming to Cameroon with Evangelist Kolenda, who has been preaching alongside with him for seven years now. A college of pastors present at the press conference called on all church leaders, believers and non-believers to come and receive what God has in store for them.
