The Post learnt that the landslide, which occurred early this week, buried several houses and injured many inhabitants of the village. None has been reported dead so far. The Post also learnt that investigations are currently going on to recover injured victims and goods buried in the earth as a result of the landslide.

Some injured victims are said to have been receiving medical attention at the hospital in Manyemen. Meanwhile, commuters bound for Mamfe or Kumba are forced to carry their luggage as head loads and cross the fly-over on foot to board another vehicle to continue their journey.
