Orange Cameroun Launches iPhone 4

The renowned mobile telephony company, Orange Cameroun, has added another ‘red feather’ to its cap, by increasing its stock of high quality products in the Cameroon market.  The Company has launched the ultra-modern mobile telephone, iPhone 4, in Cameroon, and is as well offering its customers with a range of tariff plans, designed to suit iPhone customers.
The iPhone 4, which is a veritable innovative mobile phone, features a variety of exciting facilities, including a Face Time that transforms the dream of video calling into reality.

The Launching 

Meanwhile, the grand launching of the iPhone 4 in the country by Orange Cameroun, took place on December 16, at Olympia in Bonanjo, Douala. The colourful occasion, which was attended by several hundreds of persons, was presided at by the General Manager of Orange Cameroun, Jean Bardet, assisted by his close collaborators. Highlights of the occasion included the presentation of iPhone 4 to the public, popping of champagne to welcome iPhone 4, raffle draws, and merry making, among other interesting items. Orange Cameroun made available a number of iPhone 4 for winners of the raffle draw (tombola) which they organised at the occasion for participants. Some lucky people returned home that evening with free iPhone 4, which they won at the draws.

It is worthy to note that, the iPhone 4 is now available in all Orange agencies across the country. There are two types of iPhone 4 available; the iPhone 4 in superb ipod 16Go white and black which sells for FCFA 445.000, and iPhone 4 in superb ipod 32 Go white and black which cost FCFA 525.000. Created in 1999 as Societe Camerounaise de Mobiles, the mobile telephony company adopted the Orange mark in 2002, and became known as Orange Cameroun.
