Public Service Exams Withheld

By Felicita Kwajep Ngangya* — Some public service examinations have not been launched this year following the Presidential decree employing 25.000 youths.

Competitive exams for court registrars, price control and integration of teachers have suffered a deadlock. According to an official of the Public Service, the examinations were not launched this year probably because of the financial constraint bugging the country.

Moreover, if the State employs more people in addition to the 25.000, it would not be able to pay the workers thus, leading to a deficit.
