SOBA’ 65 Class Honours Fallen Comrades

Members of the 1965 Transition Class of Sasse College (SOBA ’65) recently, in Kumba, paid tribute to all deceased members of the class.

The event was marked by a solemn High Mass at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Kumba Mbeng celebrated by a member of the class, Rev. Fr. Martin Kima of Mamfe. The Mass also had a thanksgiving intention for Barrister Nicolas Fonkem and other classmates who recovered from serious health problems.

After Holy Mass, the class visited the grave of a deceased mate who passed away in the United States of America, David Ekokobe, at Soba Street Buea Road and placed a wreath, in the presence of family members.

The class expressed gratitude to the Parish Priest of St. Anthony Kumba Mbeng, Rev. Fr. Evaraistus Nkede for his collaboration and encouraging words.
